Update: March 6th, 2016.
After a very very long year of learning to live a new life with my most recent handicap. I am getting movement in my arm!! :) It started the end of August and has been progressing, slowly. My issues with paranioia and depression are also getting better. I am confident that things will continue to progress. However, loosing a whole YEAR of my life is devastating to say the least. However, keeping a positive attitude for the most part has been a huge challenge, but I do it. I am grateful to all my family and friends that have been so encouraging and helpful. Thank you..

Shirley Walsh Birthday Celebration!!

We are just blessed so much with such wonderful friends! We set up a lunch/meet with Jim & Shirley a couple of weeks ago to go to the Greenview Restaurant.. After having one drink at the Hidden Valley Golf Course (where the Greenview) is located, we  decided to go over to the Twin Pines Casino for lunch instead.. However we made a stop at Jim & Shirley’s place for cocktails.. Smile They have such a beautiful place! Nice 25 acres or so? that backs up to the mountains.. Love going out there! We went to Twin Pines for lunch (4pm) and sang Happy Birthday to Shirley and they (twin pines) brought out a wonderful dessert that we all shared in.. We gambled a bit and then off we went to crash Rudy & Faith’s! The gate was closed with we go there, so rang the intercom and they actually LET US IN (Faith wasn’t sure who it was)!! We enjoyed a lovely evening with every one!
So next week we are taking out our trailer (For the first time) over to Jim & Shirley’s for a couple of days.. we are going to camp in their “yard”. Jim has offered to do some shelves to make a “pantry” in one of our cupboards in the trailer!! I can’t wait, it will be so fun! And I will barb-q some dinners and we will have a great time.. Rudy & Faith may join us with their beautiful “Phalen” Motorhome they just bought! OMG 40 feet with 4 slides! It is gorgeous.. or they may just come and have a party with us.. In some of the pictures you will see we were in the motorhome last night enjoying stories with friends and some really good wine!! Smile
